PROCESS
Our Manufacturing Process: From Raw Material to Precision Defense Solutions
Our manufacturing excellence is built upon the four core stages of Metal Injection Molding (MIM)—merging geometric design freedom with high-strength metallic properties—complemented by specialized Cold Hammer Forging technology for high-performance barrel production.
Feedstock Preparation
The process begins by precisely blending ultra-fine metal powders with thermoplastic and wax-based binders at exact ratios. This homogeneous mixture is processed into free-flowing granules known as “feedstock.” The uniformity of this blend is critical to ensuring consistent final product quality and process stability.
STAGE 1
Injection Molding (The Green Part)
The process begins by precisely blending ultra-The prepared feedstock is melted at high temperatures and injected into precision mold cavities under high pressure using equipment similar to plastic injection machines. The resulting component, called the “Green Part,” possesses the final geometric features but is approximately 10% to 20% larger than the end product due to its binder content.
STAGE 1
STAGE 2
Debinding (The Brown Part)
Most of the polymer binders are removed from the green part through solvent, catalytic, or thermal processes. Following this delicate procedure, the resulting porous structure is called the “Brown Part.” At this stage, the component is an open-pored metallic structure held together by a minimal amount of residual binder.

STAGE 3
Sintering (Final Metal Component)
Brown parts are heated in high-temperature, controlled-atmosphere furnaces (typically exceeding 1,000°C). During sintering, metal particles fuse, pores close, and the part undergoes isotropic shrinkage to its design dimensions. The result is a high-performance metal component with properties equivalent to forged steel and a density exceeding 96%.
